| Figured I'd setup this page so y'all can get to know me a little bit, my background, some of my interests, etc.
 My in-game name is Bartman[PM], but my real name is Joe, although a nick I also use on many sites is bart2712.
I'm a 38 yr old single male, who has been exposed to and using computers and video games since I was 7 yrs old.
I played regular CO for quite a few years, starting when CO first came out, and continuing till just before ninja class came out.
I was a regular on Sapphire server, being online every day for many hours.
I started with computers and video games when I was 7 yrs old, back in 1979...my very first game system I owned back then was the Atari 2600, and also got my start with computers on a TI99-4A computer. Back then, windows or floppy disks didnt exist yet...file storage came in the form of cassettes being used on a special tape deck thatd hook to your computer, meaning you could only save small files and many programs you could write ended up being lost once shutting off the computer.
Due to owning my first computer then, which came with a full book on coding, I taught myself to program the computers of that time in BASIC, and later on by high school, in TRUE BASIC, which was the language of choice at that time.
Over the years, Ive probably owned almost every video game system thats ever existed, altho currently I only have PC due to rough times and having had to sell my xbox360 and PS3 quite awhile ago...altho I will eventually replace them when I can afford it. Currently I play all games on PC....most commonly the ones I play being Call of Duty:Black Ops, and a hacked copy of Gears of War for Windows(played online by using Tunngle).
Due to life circumstances, I dropped out of college in the 2nd semester of my first year, and ended up not learning any more coding until I finally started working on this server over a year ago...meaning that working on this means Im basically learning coding all over again, although my background allows me to be able to understand most of what Ive been learning.
Well, thats about all ya really need to know about me for now, so at least now you know a lil about the owner of this server.
Oh yeah, and I did mention about playing Gears of Wars on PC, and playing it online using Tunngle.
Since I had a legit copy of the game but lost my cd key, and most ppl on windows live dont play it anymore anyway, I found a way to patch the game so you can use a program called Tunngle(like Hamachi but better) to play it online.
If you wanna know how you can do the same, first youll need a standard copy of the game, whether from the normal dvd disk, or installed from an iso image of the original disk.
Next youll need to download the files Ive placed HERE
Extract that rar file anywhere, preferably into C:\gowpatches
Theres a file in there called instructions.txt that will tell you step by step exactly how to use those files to play Gears of War online using Tunngle.
Oh yeah, you will also need to download Tunggle, create an account there, and browse in Tunngle itself to the Gears of War network.
If youre not actually joined in that network on the tunngle program, you wont be able to play the game online.
